Psalm 133:1

Spring, 2010!

The Huntington Men's Chorus will perform A Salute to the Music of Harry Chapin at 8pm on Saturday May 1st at the Huntington High School Auditorium.

This evening we are partnering with Long Island Cares.  Long Island Cares, The Harry Chapin Food Bank is a leading anti-hunger organization and Long Island's First Food Bank.

Serving the Hungry on Long Island since 1980, Long Island Cares brings together all available resources for the benefit of the hungry on Long Island and provides emergency food where and when it is needed, and sponsors programs that help families and individuals achieve self-sufficiency.  The organization was founded in 1980 by the late singer/activist Harry Chapin in response to the immediate needs of hungry Long Islanders. It is continued today by his wife and partner Sandy Chapin, a dedicated Board of Directors and talented staff working out of their 35,000 square foot facility in Hauppauge. Long Island Cares is a member agency of the Food Bank Association of New York State and Feeding America.

Please bring a can of food and drop it off in the lobby before our concert.  Also, please consider making a donation, and pick up a Harry Chapin T-shirt in the lobby (while supplies last).
