Fun FactsFun Facts From the archives: Just like the United States the HMC has also had father and son serve as presidents (Frank and Tom Lavery.) The major difference being we elected both of ours to two terms each! In 1999 the Chorus celebrated it's 50th anniversary concert. Of the 34 charter members one, Henry Roy, was still an active member and sang in the concert. Henry had a solo section in "Down in the Valley." Recent history: For a very short time following our 50th anniversary concert we had John Williams as president and Tom Jones as conductor. Not too shabby! A scary thought - at one point they were contemplating changing the logo:
