Church, Synagogue and other venues

The HMC is often invited to attend worship services in local houses of worship of all faiths.  As part of our charter to bring music to the community, we accept as many as we can.  We usually count on 30-50 members attending and covering all voices.   Our  repertoire varies on occasion and as appropriate, and currently includes:

bullet

Holy, Holy, Holy by Franz Schubert

bullet

Almighty Father by Paul Williams and Benjamin Harlan

bullet

Ave Maria, arranged for the HMC by Thomas Jones

bullet

Amazing Grace, arranged by Alwyn Humphreys

A Parting Blessing, by Peter Lutkin, arranged for the HMC by Charles Shipe

We are flexible.  If you are the music director or equivalent at your house of worship, please feel free to contact our president to look into a possible date.

As well as worshiping God above, we have a long history of providing music of joy or remembrance and singing patriotic songs at numerous civic events.  Again, contact our president if we can help you.
